Ines Ruhengeri Visits Uwezo as we celebrate 10 years Anniversary

INES Ruhengeri Students Visit Uwezo Office for a Day of Celebration and Connection
On December 14, 2024, Uwezo Youth Empowerment hosted a vibrant group of students from INES Ruhengeri at our Kigali office. The day was filled with inspiring discussions, heartfelt connections, and moments of celebration. We began with a toast, marking this special occasion, as our Founder, Bahati, shared Uwezo’s impact journey. A highlight of the day was celebrating Bahati’s recognition by the Segal Family Foundation for Uwezo’s remarkable work in inclusion and empowerment. The students engaged in meaningful conversations about empowering people with disabilities (PWDs) and breaking barriers. A musical session added magic to the day, with talented PWDs performing songs that conveyed a powerful message: when given equal opportunities, PWDs can achieve greatness. The event ended with laughter, new connections, and shared hopes for a brighter future. A heartfelt thank you to the INES Ruhengeri students for joining us and making the day unforgettable!
